GALVANIZATION AND CLEANING

Our presence on the galvanization treatment market since the postwar period, allows us to carefully select the partners to whom charging the galvanization process and the noble treatments potentially asked.

All this always guarantees the best price/quality ratio, to prevent our clients from the possible inefficiencies of different providers.

We chose to focus our core business on coating and to outsource the other galvanization treatments because we want to conciliate technological innovation and tradition, low costs and high quality, huge dimension and handcraft personalization.

Galvanization consists in covering the product with zinc in order to protect it from galvanic corrosion.

  • HOT-DIP GALVANIZATION
This treatment generally consists of coating steel with a layer of zinc by immersing the metal in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of 455°C. Thanks to the previous treatment of the metal in a
bath of zinc chloride and ammonium chloride molten salt, the steel bonds to the zinc giving a superior corrosion resistance.
This resistance, in the electrogalvanization is also given by the stronger mechanics of the protective layer.
  • ELECTROGALVANIZATION
The product is immersed in an electrolytic solution made of zinc compounds.
The next process is based on running a current of electricity between the metal piece and the solution, that lets the zinc lay down on the surface of the product.
The cleaning consist of the removal of the zinc remaining left on the surface of the metal piece, such as drops, ashes. It is done with the help of angle grinder and abrasive discs.
